The first thing an ENTREPRENEUR must do is ask: “who will give me money?”
In other words, DO NOT start by asking what it is that YOU to do. You start by looking for where the market is. What people want and need. Then, you find one of the discovered markets that resonates with your values, dreams, and world view.
The ARTIST does this in reverse: asks “who am I? What is the purest expression of my essence?” And only THEN looks for a market. These are two sides of the same coin, but important distinctions.
Which are you? The Entrepreneur is likely to make more money. The Artist is likely to have greater Self-expression in life. But both approaches can be BOTH fulfilled AND successful.
Which approach works better for you?
